Ug Hockey
I really do not like Hockey. I mean Gary watches it for christ sakes! It can not be any good. The kid however finds it to be an awesome sport. He is rooting for his moms team since they are 3rd in the Division or something and the Bruins are like 8th. He made me watch the game last night. Albeit it was probably a decent game since the score kept changing hands and it went all the way up to 7 to 5. It was kinda boring though. I really hate Hockey. In sports it goes Football, Baseball, Women's Beach Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey, then like maybe Nascar, Soccer, other dumb ass sports. I am pretty sure I am going to be forced to watch many more boring Hockey games too. Ug.

Ya, I'm with you. Hockey's not a fave....even when the ticket is free. Free red sox tix are a different matter.

Bruins are #1 in their Division, tied for 4th in the entire conference; the Flyers on the other hand eat doo-doo sandwiches.
Hockey is an acquired taste, but it's worth taking the time to acquire. Go to a game, you'll be hooked. And if you're lucky, you'll see a girl giving her man a handy in the seat next to you (yes, it really happened).

It does not surprise me that you dislike hockey. I mean, you are pretty much the anti-lightning, right?
Hockey is a great sport to watch -- IN PERSON. It doesn't translate nearly as well to television as other sports.

Ya I could totally see liking a Hockey game in person... Although I think you really would need seats against the boards so you can see people smooshed into the glass.

I'll honestly never get the Baseball vs. Hockey debate. I guess it's what you're born with and all. Baseball is 3 hours or more of torture. It's played as a kids game by million dollar spoiled brats, oh and might I add, while they are on dope. So cool! Oh and if we're really lucky and buy hundreds of tickets at inflated prices, (based on the empty seats at every game, in any park) perhaps they'll go on strike again, leaving the fans to consider what they really are. Basically just trash to the players and owners.
Hockey on the other hand is TOTALLY STOOOPID! Action too fast to follow for beginners, hard hitting excitement every minute and worst of all, typically no break in all that action for minutes straight. I think Hockey should follow Baseball's example to be honest. Goalies should be allowed to stop play for a conference with their Center, at least every time a new player steps on the ice for the other team. Now THAT would be as cool as Baseball!
