I love all the "Poker Talk" the last two posts have generated. I may have to call myself a poker blog or something.. Highly personal stuff coming next post. No nudity do not worry. The thing I like about hands like that one is they can generate alot of discussion. Alot of different ways to play hands like that.
Again though to summarize: I make up the 7% and more from the people who fold to me. The 24h straight draw is not what I am shooting for it, it is my safety rope in case I mis-judge the strength of the persons hand or there willingness to commit all there money with a vulnerable hand. So I make up the 7% easily when tighter opponents fold to my bet. I really do not want the call here but when he makes it I have to yank the rip cord and hope the shoot deploys. In this case it did.

Again, I don't have a problem with how you played the hand or the results.
I have a problem with guys like DP who think that anyone who even SUGGESTS that the guy made the right play for the right reason is "thick headed."
The ego to think that the way you play is the only way the game should be played is the downfall of a lot of players.

all this over 2-4 sooted huh? i'm not going to find myself all-in in a ring game with either of those two hands unless, i've already hit at least trips. but, that's just me.
