A Tale of Two Pictures

My pictures this week have kinda sucked I think. Nothing really came out well. A few I sorta like. Mostly uninspired suckage this week though.

The chairs caught my attention for some reason. These are in my shrinks office. I liked how this turned out.

Blurry messes.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Meh. I think I am tired of this view.. and the reflections out the windows suck.

Something is off on this one.

This is alright.

The last one is probably the best. The first bear picture kind of sucked. I could never get something that looked like an even perspective. I like it framed underneath by the LENOX sign.

On another note. My son comes home the other day and tells me that a girl in his school sent a naked picture to her boyfriend. The boyfriend sent it to a few of his friends and now it's like all over the school. One boy went to the girl and told her what was happening. I told my son this is a good example of having a good character and doing what you know is right even if it is not popular.

As a side note - If you are going to send your dick to a chick make sure you leave your face out of the picture.

Three were shot with incomplete tops. Bear has state flag integrated. Your view and what is kept may not be the same at the top. While you can use GIMP or such to straighten the building, you can't restore what is missing.

Cropping can be a "darkroom" action but poor planning on what is important is time of shot work. Your angle, perspective can't really be altered. Pictures have a spot that should draw the eye and progress from that focal point.

Pick a nice day and a subject and try to shoot a variety of perspectives and see what works and doesn't. This kind of stuff is the basic step up from snapshots.

I am sure there are a lot of tutorials online about photography. Maybe Astin can share some.

Note to VJ: Keep head out of picture.

Note to Grr: Switch the lens from wide angle to macro.

Drat and double drat! Firstly, I completely forgot about the football until about forty minutes ago, and secondly, I was not filled with the joys of the season when I looked at the spreadsheet to realise I had lost twelve points to Josie. (I was however a mite relieved in that I initially thought I had lost the lead as I thought I only had eleven points, not thirteen, in hand before this week.)

I have not time to double-check the figures as thoroughly as usual, so I hope there are no mistakes.

Actually, I only lost eleven to Josie.

Bearing in mind the mere two points between VJ and myself, what is the official rule on tie-breaks? I assume the money league has such a rule, and that that would apply.

Oh Sebastian Dahhhling, we won't be tying. Not at all. YOu didn't think I'd let a Brit win this thing, did you?
