Luckbox Prevails

I got crippled in the WWDN on an interesting hand. I think I played it terribly. It brings up a good point though. So here is the situation. You have a short stack luckbox at your table and he is pushing every third hand, taking blinds, because, well, he has to. You have 4K in chips and are in decent shape. He has about 2K and with the blinds is hurting. So you are dealt a weak hand but not bad HU. It is A7s. Do you call said Luckbox on his 19th push?

I did last night but I am beginning to think it was a mistake. It is not really my job to make CJ stop stealing. My job is to get my money in with a likely winning hand. If I had a hand like AK/AQ it might be different. If I am behind in the hand I am likely closer to a coinflip with a hand like that. I think sometimes we take it on ourselves to call people when they raise every other hand. It can end up putting us in bad situations. So next time I will wait to try and take the Luck out of the Luckbox and it might be me at the final table.
