Interesting

I am not sure if I am more interested in what this story means to online poker or the fact that Party Poker was founded by Mr. Dikshit. Anyway go ahead and read and let me know what you think. Obviously those that know me will agree that I am more fascinated by Mr. Dikshit.

This puzzles me because party was the first site, and almost immediately after the signing of the bill, to cease operations in the state.

Unless something has changed, I don't know why the DOJ would have any case. Do you know anyone that plays on Party anymore? Unless of course they live in Canada, or are stealing or getting an ip address from outside of the US.

Ok, so check this out...

"PartyGaming, which closed its American business after the US ban two year ago, said it was making "good progress" in its discussions with the DoJ and was "currently negotiating the final terms of a possible settlement".

This seems to be directed at their non-poker business. You can read the rest of the story here...
