Played a 4.40 Rush Turbo tonight. Riggs said they are soft. This was my fourth attempt. First three I did not get past 75th or so. Tonight was a bit different. Played my patented go for the third spot strategy and ended up second. Only nasty part was my two biggest losses at the table were against the same guy. Both times he had AA and slow rolled me. Last hand that got me second place I jammed KQ s00ted. He slow rolls into his time bank and then calls. He then says good game. So I called him a scumbag. Still a nice hundred buck payday for a quick SNG is not too bad.

In other news I am now a Baseball Coach. My son's summer league needed some coaches and the wife signed me up. I know nothing about coaching baseball. Ug. Really going to need a car now! Should be fun though. I will let you know how bad I fuck it up.

You are going to get laid.

Either by romancing a single mom with a son on your team, or by using your position to ellicit sexual favors from young married women.

"You know, Mrs. Robinson, your son is pretty good at baseball, I bet he wants to have more playing time... that could be arranged..."

You got married and didn't tell us. This new one seems to be busting your balls as bad as the X-WIFE.

It would do little league and your son's respect good to try to find a coach that could coach. You might hire some kid from the high school team to take your place. My only other suggestion is buy the kids ice cream after every practice to get them to only laugh at you in private. (Baseball wasn't my game either.)

Are you still in love with her and even hoping she'll take you back? It sure looks like it. You are owned and even rentable.

I think you should contact and read Joe Speaker's latest. He went through a somewhat similar rough time and coaches. And, nurtured his offspring in the process.

Look at his latest
It seems to have reasoning to try to coach but also points out that skills are necessary to pull it off.

Congrats on the cash. Coaching will be awesome. Alot of fun and other coaches will tell you what they need done.

Even if you don't really know what to do to coach, just showing up and TRYING goes a long way.

Damn bro, you must be building the bankroll up with all these "Scores."

Don't fuck it all up by playing break even poker but rather run that shit up into the thousands.

Maybe your good run coincides with that oil leak? Major catastrophe on earth means "The Maniac" runs like Zeus.

Fucking Kill those games man. KILL THEM!

wtf is it with the AA slowroll? Happened to me last night too, the fucker - I jam KK, dude almost times out then calls (he did the same to someone earlier, so it wasn't a mistake). I don't care so much about the cooler, (fucking bubbled me too!) but the slowroll shit is aggravating.

I'm not sure how I feel about coaches that don't know shit. It's great that the parents want to get involved etc... At the very least... and I'm sure you'll do this... study one of the "how to" manuals and implement the suggestions. Having a game plan at every practice makes the whole thing easier and more fun for the kids - as you're not spending the entire time yelling at them as they wander around aimlessly, and kids love learning shit - makes em feel good to accomplish stuff.

just my 2ยข, take it or leave it :)

... and go read riggs' post about his coaching.

His good run coincides with a certain gal railing him. Not that much of a coincidence if you ask me.
