What would you do? #1 - Friggen Italian Version

Initially I was going to make this a tribute to Poker Meisters style of level headed reporting however I find posting hand histories to be too mathy. Raised to 150 pre-flop after two limpers. Italian dude jammed the flop for all his chips.

My heart goes out; that no...

Pretty common really it is a combination of a post oak bet coupled to the Internet propensity to overplay hands.

He had 8 outs for the straight. Using the rule of 42, he was about even money. (4x8) + (2x8) With the other runner-runner posibility he is actually ahead of overcards (6-outs) versus your hand.

This post is one of the reasons a hand history like this holds little value. His is a viable technique in early tournament where the goal is to chip up or not waste your time as an average or below player. It is the opposite of Daniel's small pot goal but worthwhile for the outclassed.

You're mellowing out. That post is hardly a rant though you do recover a bit in the comments section

Waffles,

Congrats on being grammatically correct in comment above A) sadly your new found grammar skills were missing in D) and F)

Against overpair he is 32% but against AK/AQ he is favorite.

I busted from 2 SNGs last night where 97s jammed SB into AA or KK.

Euro math is different suck it up
