Veggies Anyone?

I think I am going to try an experiment and go Vegan for a month. Now I may have a little trouble not exploiting fruit flies in Brazil or some such nonsense but I will do my best. I do not really beleive in Veganism or even Vegetarianism but I think eating a little healthy for a month might be good.

I also am doing this as a tribute to Elaine who is totally into the whole Vegan and protecting animals thing. A lot of people call her crazy. I however respect that she has an opinion and is very dedicated to it. Commitment and dedication scare people these days and I think she deserves respect for that even if you do not agree with her opinions. I have always found her presentation of her views to be very non-judgmental and not full of attacks but just passionate statements of her beliefs. I also want to encourage her hot video blogs to continue!!

I figure that this one month campaign will save 1 cow, 16 chickens, 4 pigs, and other assorted mystery meats. So a pretty good gain for the Vegan side!!!

Realistically there is no way in hell I am missing out on Turkey Holocaust day. I also need to be safe about this. Going from eating pounds of bacon and burgers every day to whatever the hell Vegans eat is not gonna be easy. So I will get some books and stock up on some vitamins and shoot for starting my new diet on December first. Wish me luck.

Well if you succeed this proves just one thing.

If you can do, I sure as hell can do it.

I guess I'll have to increase my meat consumption to make up what you won't be eating.

Then again, I'm on a diet. I guess I could always just buy extra meat and throw it out. We've got so many cows living out near our place that it'd be irresponsible of me to slow down my meat consumption/waste.

Good luck with the vegan thing...now where'd I put that bacon cheeseburger...

There definitely need to be some side bets on this in some form.

Good for you!
The food is soooo good, and you feel soooo good after eating! (Who knew you weren't supposed to feel heavy and blah after every meal?!?)

There's tons of support and lots of resources out there, don't hesitate to call on them!

Good luck.

Waffles finally found a way to get women to visit his blog and offer encouragement.

Seriously, I admire this try, although I do not think I could do it. Why don't you try to not eat red meat for a month first? Start slow. I've done that and did fine with it. Just make sure you are getting enough protein.

Is this another attempt to attain naked women pictures over the internets?

Turn the safe filter off your Google search and save yourself a month of meat sweats.

Of course waffles can do this… Donkeys are herbivores anyway.

Careful you don’t over eat on your vegan diet, you could develop laminitis of the hoof.
