7th Place in the 3K

I am somewhat dissapointed I did not place higher. I make a risky move against a wild player. I had A4 s00ted, he had 33. He caught a 3 and I never improved. So I ended up in 7th place for 134 smackers. Oh well. I tried.

Here is the bad thing though. Besides my dumb play when I had alot of chips. (less than 10xBB but 40K in chips). I get A7 with my 1900 chips left. 6K blinds. I push. Two callers. The flop comes and then one guy says to the other one "Lets call him down"!!!!

It is an unspoken thing that usually you will call the all in guy down to get a better chance to knock him out. HOWEVER it is WAYYYYYY past the line to actually say it. I AM PISSED!

I reported him to Titan but I doubt those losers will do anything. They "Protect" me by not giving me my money until I send them a credit card scan that they can see clearly EVEN THOUGH I am taking my money out through Firepay. Yet, I tell them someone is cheating and they could fucking care less. Thanks guys!

I don't think that is cheating.

Slayre, it is against the rules to talk about a hand while it's in progress, so yes, it is cheating.

I love the way Stars cuts off the chat when someone is all in. I don't know why the other sites never picked up that.

It is interesting that you do not think colluding with another player to knock someone out is not cheating. How about if I said to someone "I have pocket Aces, I will take that guy our, you fold then we will all move up one spot."

Hello Sirfwalgman,

Unlucky of the tourney. It reminds me when I was playing in my first ever live tourney. One of the seasoned guys was trying to get me to check to the river to increase the odds of forcing another player out. But he got angry when I raied to force him out. He got very angry after that and the atmosphere wasn't very nice.

Anyway, my mate Juice is trying to find strong NL players to do a hit on a player who's giving him lots of abuse. Would you be interested in claiming the bounty?

Good Luck,

The Edge.

I've never chatted about that strategy in an ongoing hand, but sometimes checking here helps, sometimes it doesn't. Another factor is if the side pot is dry.

I've had a relatively strong hand before, 2 pair, checked to the river, the other guy hits his flush and bets.

I've had a very strong hand, full house, was checking it down to the river. On the river, the other guy bets, so I raise him all in and take him out also.

It's an interesting dynamic, but there shouldn't be table talk about the situation.

Congrats SirF, I need to write down when Titan does the non-rebuys. This one was too late of a start for a rebuy.
