Stupid Holdem
KtKatrina takes me down to 300 chips when she calls all in with KQ s00ted and rivers a queen. I hate HE. Bah! I then have to push with AT and AJ wins. He had SOOOO many chips there is no way he does not call me. Stupid HE!
Watch Waffles life after the Ex, will he die of masturbation, some crazy date, or alcohol poisoning with the marines

Waffles, did you say at the wwdn tourney last night that you ended up that PL08 tourney in 5th place? That must have been a very nice payday, no? 20 times the buyin or something, right? That's not bad for a days work!

Nonononono.. I ended up 100th in the PLO8 last night, the night before in the 1$ I placed 5th..

Tilt. Heh. Seriously, I hear ya. What did you have when KtKatrina went all-in? I assume you were ahead. Yes, the bad beats are there...I just find them easier to see coming than I do in Omaha.

I had an AJ.. so it was 50/50.. Such a donkey play to call all your chips off with KQ though..
err.. I mean, it is sub-optimal to call an all in with KQ.

I wouldn't say that it is ALWAYS sub-optimal to call an all-in with KQ. It depends on how many players are in the game, stack sizes, your reads on the other players, etc. etc. Yesterday I was in a MTT that was down to three. I had KJo, I was 2nd in chips, the chip leader pushed on a ragged flop. I read him as trying to push me off the hand with weak cards, so I called him all-in. My read was pretty good: he had K5o. I was ahead, but unfortunately he caught a runner-runner flush to knock me out. I felt good about that decision, though. So, it's almost impossible to say that you shouldn't make one play or another based solely on the cards you hold.

I agree with your statement in principle. The thing that gets me is I play a fairly tight game, and you can be pretty sure, when playing against me, your KQ is not going to be good. People do not pay attention which is good I guess..

I'm Sorry?
it was a fun game though, right? :o)
