Nah Nah Kitty

I just won an Entry to the BIG FUCKING GAME. No not that one. The 1,000,000 Guarenteed on Stars this Sunday.

When Katitude beat me in the WWDN I went and played a $55/SNG and won $1100. Nah Nah Kat! When Katitude beat me in the Mookie I went and played a 1500FPP Entry into the 1,000,000 Sunday game. Nah Nah Kat! PLEASE KEEP BEATING ME BABY!

Here are the parameters:

Cost: 1500FPPP's
Valuation: $150 or so. I beleive T$ are worth less then W$?
Bankroll: $1087.
Entrants: Usually 5000 or more.

So here is my question. Please everyone weigh in.

Would you play the big game or would you sell your entry for T$ based on the T$ being worth 15% of your bankroll or so. If you would play, then why, if you would sell then why.

Play the damn tourney.

You never know, this could be your day and you could end up winning tens of thousands of dollars. It really only takes one shot to make it big in this game.

I'm a total stick in the mud.

My initial thought would be to sell it and take the tourney dollars. The only reason is because it's 15% of your bankroll. Put those dollars to good use.

You said it yourself.....you play best in a more confined tourney. Take the dollars to a happy place and play in some higher dollar multi's like your $50 90 man SNG.

Or, go for broke and go for the Big Dance......I wouldn't blame you one bit as I'd love to take a shot myself.

Congrats man......good stuff!

I think T$ sell a lot better then you'd think.

Hit up 2+2 and there's a link to a site that buys em up.

As for play vs. cash, you've said you don't care about "having a bankroll" so... go for it and play in the tourney.

Waffles, I totally disagree with the last two commenters. You are very, very solid at MTTs. I believe you that in your experience you've done better in smaller MTTs than the larger ones (who hasn't, btw?), but MTT skillz are MTT skillz, and you are a Damn Fool in my book if you don't play in the million dollar tourney on ps with this entry. In February I won a satellite into the million dollar guaranteed tourney on Partypoker, and I played it that month and ended up cashing, finishing in the top 10% for a $740 payout. You have to play in it man, I'm not sure if we can be friends anymore if you don't.

Had the same problem last weekend and after actually winning a seat to the big game, decided to take the money and run. Basically my bankroll needed it more than I needed a slim chance at the big game. ;-)

Congrats tho..

Play the tourney you putz! It's a shot at big money! If you won a seat in a WSOP satellite, you wouldn't sell it.

I would play the tourney, unless your bankroll was hurting for the immediate cash infusion. I agree with l'artiste in that you might get a good run going and win some real big money.

Of course if you do sell the seat, we can always give you shit about being too much of a wuss to take a shot. :)

Well, I don't know what I would do...what am I talking about, I would sell it immediately (but remember: my bankroll is micro at stars, so this would be a no-brainer) - in your case it's a little different...I guess there's two possibilities:

1. Play, hope for a good run and cash (maybe even BIG)
2. Sell it and play some (many) 180SnG or similar for it...

Good luck whatever you do...(if you play make sure you announce it, I'll try to railbird) ;-)

You've got to give it a shot - a discounted chance at a big score is a great time to do it! Good luck!
