SO JTKeys.. Your rebuttal to the hand is "Oh he makes a living playing poker". Seriously? This this how much thought people put into poker? The best you can come up with is not "Well that was a good move on his part because...".. it's that he makes a shitty living playing 1/2 poker in Vegas?

I would fucking make a living playing poker if there was any fucking money in it. Sure we see the top percent of people making some cash. We see some people online who spew huge amounts of money around.. but are they really making money? If we are talking 1/2 or even 2/5 I doubt most people gross even 100k a year.

The real problem here though is nobody ever wants to discuss shit. I make some points I consider valid. Obviously I use my own style of swearing and name calling to provoke people.. but if you disagree with my analysis then WHY. Not "Oh because he plays for a living he must be a boss". How do you even know he "Plays for a living".. maybe he made a fortune selling his sperm to rich women so they could have super arrogant babies and now he just plays poker for fun and lives off his dirty whore money.

I miss the days when I would call Dr. Pauly or Iggy a fucktard for some stupid play they made and they would come back and explain some new concept or we would get into lively debates about playing counter intuitive hands like 35o (or 24o) and shit like that.

Now nobody thinks about poker at all. It's all just "Hey Howard Lederer in his book poker for dickwads told me that I should always jam AA pre-flop so I do it". Disgusting.

I checked, he bet $50, I raised to $150, he pushed, I called. He had suited connectors, 4h-5h. I dodged all of his outs on the river and doubled up."

This hand is full of moronic plays. We have one guy drawing to the nut flush on a paired board. Lucky as shit he even had a fucking live card to draw to. Fucking stupidest play ever... and then we have the other moron who has a non-nut flush draw but trips. Now he could be drawing dead here. If not.. why min raise? If I am him.. I jam in with my trips and the redraw and if someone happens to have A5 I have outs.... you want to get it in there for the exact reason that you want moronic nut flush draws to HAVE to fold. Except I am not sure the first moron would have folded anyways.

Jeez. First off I can tell that iPhone and other devices are creating obsessive compulsion in people. I used to be the only weird one walking down the street reading a book.. now EVERYONE is walking around with faces buried in their iPhone's. Fuck, I have to resist the urge to check my phone even when I know nobody has called or texted.

I am with Josie in preferring texting to voice. It is just my nerdy nature to enjoy typing. Of course I have not mastered the double thumb ass typing style. I still use one finger while I grasp the phone for dear life least I drop it. I see other people holding it with two hands and using thumbs and I am amazed. It is probably how monkeys feel when they look at us.

The first day of the phone was exciting but now it's like nobody calls, nobody writes.. I got a phone so I could figure out how fucking pathetic my social life is. Woo hoo! Glad I listened to everyone. Fuck you all.

Actually I think the real reason I got the phone was for app development so that should be fun once I start messing with it. Might even have to break my little buddy out of jail.

I did enjoy taking pictures of my little girl going to school today. She is getting to be such a big girl. NOOO! She is my little girl!!!! Next up Asians on the train! BOOOM!

Just In Case

In case my hint dropping was unclear I did buy a phone. No I did not have any phone before this. I kind of liked it that way.

Josie has the honor of being the first person who I called on the phone. Also the first contact in my list. I am not sure how to sync my address book since it is thunderbird but I will probably figure it out. I am not sure if I want to sync it either. Perhaps.

I am already somewhat annoyed by the phone... well.. at least by certain people calling me. Not Josie. I like the text feature much better. Hope I have unlimited texts.

Coverage in my house is spotty. I have to go outside to get some bars. So that is annoying. I also have no idea what apps and things to get for the phone. I think I need some sort of case to keep the screen nice also. I did get iTunes setup on my PC. I have a little Apple laptop I have been developing on so I will probably hook it up there also.

The weekend was such a freaking horror show. My son agreed to do some lawns for his friend while he was in Greece. This kid has a whole business going with an LLC, invoices, Tee-Shirts and a Web site. Very industrious. He said he was going to send orders over on Tuesday and instead sent like 11 lawns on Thursday to be finished Friday. Well no way in hell that was going to happen. So we finished up this weekend.

The wife has no planning skills at all so the weekend was full of yelling and screaming and rushing places and totaly stupidity. I took over somewhat on Sunday and just said "This is how it's going down, I am taking JMan around to these places, and you are getting me a phone". So that worked out better.

SGirl and her mom went to the Redsox game. They lost as usual but she got two balls. The ball boy came over and gave them to her. So that was pretty cool for her. They got home around midnight and we still had to return the truck we rented to do the lawns.. so we drive over and drop it off.

Apparently I was supposed to check the truck to see if anything was in it. I looked over the seats and stuff but did not really look in the glove box and sides. So apparently we left a photo card and my son's phone in the truck. The card has pictures of the kids which we can never get back. So the wife was flipping out a little. Not really at me. Just more like a nervous breakdown or something retarded like that.

She also fired out other nanny. She should have talked it over with the family first. The nanny was sick one day and fell asleep on the couch while watching the kids. So my daughter takes a picture and shows the wife. Now I am not very happy she fell asleep but I can understand and the kids are 10-13 so I am not too worried about them spending a little time while she is sleeping. On the good side the better nanny is taking over her hours so that should work out good.

Next doctors appointment is September 19th. I think I really need it. All the aggravation is finally getting to me. Now that I kind of see how high blood pressure feels I can feel the headaches and stuff from all the drama and yelling. I am going to ask the doctor for a referral to a shrink since I can not get any to call me back.. and after talking some things over decide on what changes I need to make.

Football?

Dealing with my health issues. Been trying to get a walk in every day. My appointment with my real physician the hot Asian who is kind of aging so I might need to get another one is September 19th. I am going to ask her for a referral to a shrink since none of them call me back. Albeit I am hard to reach with no phone and stuff. Hopefully I can get a quick and long session and get everything out and figure a path forward.

Until then I am getting a little motivated to get rid of all my possessions. I hate moving. I want to like throw a bag of clothes, my computer, and pretty much nothing else in my car to move.

I Now Understand

I can now actually understand why new fangled roller coasters have warnings for people with blood pressure issue and heart attacks. Holy fuck those roller coasters were crazy. I brought the boy to Six Flags this weekend. We had a good time. The first one we tried out was Superman.. except superman was taken over by Bizzaro Superman. The comic you read while in line was interesting but did not finish the whole story.

The bad part about the ride is the wait was over an hour. It was pretty bad. The ride itself was awesome though. You went up like 20 stories (actual height is 208-feet) I swear! I mean the thing starts up.. and I am like.. alright were almost at the top.. then more up... ok.. this must be it.. then MORE up... then STRAIGHT DOWN! OMG! I swear we were nose diving straight down. This thing curved all around and went underground. It was moving so fast that when you went over the humps it felt like the coaster had left the tracks and you were flying. Fuck maybe it did! Jesus Christ that was wild. Once I got off the coaster my head was hurting and my heart was pumping fast. I probably should have called it a day but you gotta do what you gotta do. The kid loved it. He was scared on it too but had a good time.

We tried the Batman next. The line was a lot less. I would say maybe a half hour. The Batman seemed as tall as Superman but I am not sure (Actual height 109-feet). Instead of zipping you straight down it did all kinds of turns, and curves, and upside down moves. I added to my headache and probably got some whiplash thrown in. Ken Link included.

We tried the old fashion roller coaster too. It might have been the scariest because the whole thing shook and clanked and seemed ready to fall apart. I think that one is the most dangerous one in the park... the rotting wood gives a good scare.

In general I enjoyed the park.. but it is a total ass rape. The drinks cost 3.50 each, the food is expensive, parking is expensive.. everything is very costly. I would not have minded paying a lot to get in if the food was more reasonable. The wait in line for the good rides sucks too. It was pretty horrible. They let you buy an extra "Flash" pass to get in quicker. If I go again I will use that for sure. All in all some good memories though.

Ye Ole Bookshop

I have been wondering what to do with my old books. Amazon is ok for selling.. but it is a pain in the ass at times... and people list all their books for 2 cents with 4 bucks shipping.. it's just weird... So I tried a new place called The Book Rack. Actually it is more like an old thing I figured was gone and buried. It is an actual book store. They give you 1/4th the price of the book as a store credit.. so as long as you can find something you want to read you are good. I brought in two bags of books and got like a hundred dollar credit. I only ended up finding like 4 books I needed on this trip... but for eight bucks instead of thirty two it's not a bad deal. They only allow you to use your credit on half the purchase.. because they need to make some money.

I have no idea if this is going to work out in my favor. It will take a while to go through the first bunch of credits.. but I feel good that someone else will read my books.. and I get some cheap entertainment.. so it seems like a good deal.

It was also pretty funny seeing books laid out all over the place and trying to find stuff I wanted to read. I had a good experience.

Lightning Strikes

I was reading lightnings latest post. Very funny. He claims that he was watching the ComicCon girls in tight latex and skimpy outfits. I think he really was taking a picture of Silver Surfer in his underwear. Seriously what is wrong with that kid. The surfer, not Lightning.

His kid dressed up as Sollux Captor. I had never heard of this series.. which is not surprising. While I have read a lot of things like Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece I am not the aficionado people like Wolfie and Lightnings daughters are.

Dental Hygenist

I hate this women. She is scary. I got my stitches out today. He pokes around my spots "Does that hurt?"... If I punch you in the cunt will it hurt you fucking whore? I swear she goes home every day and puts on her leathers and beats kittens. Fucking cunt. She even hurts me with the suction! I came out of there and almost had a heart attack! Bitch!

I am Highly Drunkified

Went to our company event for the first time in 5 years. My Russian sweetie told me I had to go. Had a good time. I am drunkified. Killing time until 10:00 when I can catch my 10:35 train. Peach schnapps to you all since that faggot Lightning does not like peace. Yeah I am talking to you pervert!! Where is Josie? Is she hunting and gathering? I miss her. The cute little oompah loompah.

Not The Best News

Went to the doctors today.. the BP was acting up.. not as badly as before but was stuck on 130/90.. So a little high. So the Nurse Practitioner decided to keep me on the meds until my appointment with my doctor September 19th. So... it would have been nice to be off them but I guess I am stuck for a little more. I am wondering if I need a little higher dose than 2.5... since it has not fallen back to 120/80 like it should... I am going to try and hit CVS a few times this week and see what it reads... if it stays high I may ask if I need a higher dose...

Other than that I am learning Russian for the same reasons I learned German. I am sure you can all guess at those.

Riddiculous

It is kind of scary how much the government is owned by corporations. Read this whole thing. Most of you will probably say "oh I am not a pirate so I do not have to worry". Just remember, a while back, in a country close to ours they said "oh I am not a Jew so I do not have to worry"... We allow this kind of political thing to go on. We have nobody to blame but ourselves.

Last year we had a competition. No money involved. We each weekly picked all teams and who we thought would win. We put a sureness number.. so if there were 12 teams, and you were 12 sure that Patriots would kick ass and 1 sure that the Eagles would not fuck up.. then you put those number by those games and everything in between. Person with the most points won the week. Waffles and Son took down the competition last year beating the field. If anyone would like to join this year you are all welcome.

2. Fantasy Football League
The kid wants me to setup a draft league on like ESPN or something.. so if you want in then let me know. You can join both. Again no money since kids are involved.

3. Josie! Were you going to get me in your pool for reals this year?

Fucking Pussy Dentist

Shit man. Yesterday sucked balls. I had two teeth extracted and it hurt like fuck. Well.. it did not really hurt but feeling like your tooth being pulled through flesh and hearing things crackling.. sucked. The doctor said I should not go to work. I really wanted to but I decided to take his advice. I felt perfectly fine all day at home. Today I am pain free for the first time in like weeks. Feels great. Going to have to make up days this weekend though which sucks. I was in so much lack of pain last night even the percocets worked. Fuck the spelling I am still tired.

I still have one more back tooth on the other side that has to come out which sucks.. and I have stitches that need to be removed. I can then see if I have a real blood pressure issue or not. I ate French Fries and a shake today.. Doctor says keep away from HOT and HARD stuff.. Josie would be totally SOL. XD.

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhh

So frustrated. Was starting to feel better on the Anti-Biotics then this weekend was horrible. It got bad enough that I had to pop some Tylenol PM to sleep.. and I am coming to believe that these things put me into a coma. I could not awaken till like 11:00 Monday which was wayyy late for work so I stayed home.

Last night I decide I cannot zombify myself so I try taking the hard drugs.. except they do not do shit for me. I have no idea why but I have a HUGE immunity to pain medication. I could never be a tweaker. The stuff basically just makes me a little dizzy and it's kind of hard to walk. SO I spent last night sleeping about 1-2 hours in total. Fun times. Just kind of think nod off 10 minutes, wake up in pain, eat ice, nod off 10 minutes, rinse, repeat.

On the good side of things I did a 2 hour project for a grand this weekend. That was fun. I read some blogs about people living out of hotels and sweating that hundred buck bill and I guess I have things kind of ok... at least I have done well in my choice of jobs.

Tomorrow is the dentist appointment. It is going to suck. I am getting 2 teeth extracted and one filled or maybe pulled if it is too full of cavities. I assume I am going to be sore for a few days/weeks. Perhaps I can get a morphine prescription.. at least that makes me feel warm and fuzzy after a few drips. Percoset just is not going to cut it. Hopefully after this I can sleep. I did the blood pressure again today and it was 137/80.. which I assume is alright... next appointment with the doctor is Monday. Peace.

Ouchie

I think my pee pee has an infection. Josie must not have sucked hard enough. It's like been kind of stinging a tiny bit. Hopefully the anti-biotics I am on will clear things up...

CVS Not Charging a Quarter

My doctor asked me to do my blood pressure every day. So I went to CVS and thought they would charge me like a quarter to use the machine. Nope. Free.

Now it does have an annoyingly loud voice.. I guess for the old people like Ken so they can hear and stuff. Hey Ken your becoming a regular on the site! I got a tip that you have to try it 3 times and average it out because the electronic ones are not as good as the old pump and pull method.

Just as a side note, I will never be sleeping with that Nurse Practitioner I have been seeing. She has a ROUGH tough. Man I thought my arm was going to fall off as she pumped up the blood pressure cuff. Ug. Fuck that. I need a soft lady that treats me right.

So I guess that is alright. No stroke territory. This is a morning reading after the pill. I guess I should probably hit it again tonight on the way home. Hopefully I can keep up the whole taking care of myself kick for a while.

Numbers of the Day

So I went back today after taking my little white Ken pill.. It's actually 2.5mg of Lisinopril. This morning I was feeling pretty good too. No pain in the tooth. I woke up in the middle of the night with a Charlie Horse which did not help. Anyhow I went to my appointment and my bp was down to 120/80 or so. Which may not be great but I think I am out of stroke territory for the moment. This was before I took a pill today so it probably will drop a little lower.

It's kind of funny that Wolfshead chimed in on my comics because when the BP was running huge he was the first person I thought of. Anyway we will see how it goes today.. I am feeling a little foggy/weird today but it might just be lack of sleep.

Wheeeeee

So I went to the doctor today and she did all kinds of tests and a EKG and stuff like that. It was actually like a Nurse Practitioner because my doctor is on vacation. So anyways my blood pressure was still wayyyy too high. She thinks it could be because of all the pain I have been in. I think it could be at least in part that. So she gave me a blood pressure pill. So I am spiking down Anti-Biotic, Percocets, and Blood pressure medicine. To say I am a little loopy today is probably a little understatement.. lest I do not have to shotgun water to keep my tooth from hurting. Perhaps this will turn out good and I will cut off some serious medical issues before they go too far.

The Nurse Practitioner wants to see me again tomorrow to see if the pill worked and lowered my blood pressure. She does not like the fact I am a walking stroke. Hopefully it will be down a bit. Until then I am like Uncle Ken .. green pill, red pill, blue pill.
